He's provided for each of them the opportunity to lead a life of health, wealth, and power far beyond their imagination. By his own example, he's shown them that such gifts are meant to be shared, used to make the world a better place. And he's never asked them for anything in return, showing a willingness to risk even his own life to live to his own ideals.

Now Will Stark needs their help. He's helpless, he's uneducated, and he's about to meet men who can utterly destroy him.

And they'll need to make sure that's exactly what happens.

Prodded by memories and with the aid of future hindsight, they'll work tirelessly, take on alternate personalities, and ensure that the plan is carried out in its entirety. In the process, they'll learn that selfless sacrifice can demand a heavy price. They'll know that even high technology can't overcome the human spirit.

And they'll understand that, even with perfect hindsight, surprises beyond expectation can -- and do -- occur.

Love these fantasy futuristic type books....the 1st set of 3 of the Aliomenti followed on quite well...but got slightly confusing on the following books in the series where it went back and forth....quite enjoyable though

Again a good read let down by it`s editing and perhaps beginning to become a procession of human kinds advances loosely joined by the journey of Will through the centuries and his supposed had in their innovation.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Aliomenti Saga books one through five 6 Jan 2014

Anxiously awaiting book six. This book wanted me to jump to the end at the first page of book one to ensure the outcome was good. When a read gets you super angry at the bad guys, you know it just has to end correctly.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far my favorite series for 2014 14 Mar 2014

Once again Alex Albrinck managed to deprive me of sleep with this book. The writing is excellent, the story gripping and the action non-stop. I am looking forward to the sixth book in the series.
2.0 out of 5 stars Short story stretched into a novel, a poor climax for a reasonable series. 9 Aug 2014

This one was lazy writing and poor editing. I liked the previous books.

Repetitive, boring, stretched-out. It was a short story stretched out to a novel. Yes, we did want to know how that fateful day went, with our new knowledge of the players. But it really wasn't 250 pages worth, and hearing it from several different viewpoints, over and over, was anticlimactic.

Also, the whole setup of packing the estates with disguised Alliance members didn't really have any purpose at all, did it?

I would have expected this (admittedly important) story to be packed into the first half of the book (or less), and have introduced the setup for the rest of the series in the rest. Instead, it closed with no real suspense or unanswered questions that mattered, leaving me completely unwilling to buy another book.

I think Mr. Albrinck should get a few friends (and enemies) to help with his books and accept their advice. I suspect that if he did, there would have been more advice like mine.
4.0 out of 5 stars Now I'm wondering where the Will who went back in time is at. 19 July 2014

I liked the book almost as much as the last four in the series, but I'm a bit confused as to where the Will who went back in time ended up. I get that he couldn't look like he did before and he's able to mask his energy or change completely his energy signature so he can remain undetectable by the Aliomenti hunters, but if he can do those things why can't he be with his family. I must have missed something. Maybe the answers will be in the next book. I like the series enough to invest the time and money in book six. So, that is a recommendation in itself, try it sci-fi fans.
