The whole album is superb, I found DiDi's rendition of Nielsen: Six Humoresque-Bagatelles particularly enjoyable and very expressive.

This is a truly inspirational recording by a pianist of awesome gifts. In this recording Di Xiao demonstrates her devastating technical prowess across some of the piano's most demanding pieces. Furthermore, and perhaps most impressively, her musicianship brings a breadth of colour and feeling that is rarely heard in today's younger pianists and which is reminiscent of past masters. In summary, a real treat!

Having had the privilege to see Di Xiao performing live, I simply had to by her first album. An eclectic ensemble of music that is both invigorating with the sometimes manic keystrokes of Chen QiGang's music to the out write subliminal day-dreamy sounds of Sibelious' Impromptu No5 and for this piece alone I would thoroughly recommend this as a 5 Star buy!
