5.0 out of 5 stars The best Pregnancy Workout I have found 23 Oct 2007
I have bought around 10 Pregnancy workout DVDs and I would say that this is the best one I have found. Erin has a warm, friendly personality but unlike Davina she doesn't keep making irritating little jokes every few minutes (and those jokes only get more annoying the more times you hear them).

This is a challenging fitness DVD and you can really feel the results when you have done it. Erin exercises in her living room and shows you how to use every day object such as your coffee table and couch to help you work out.

I would say that in terms of difficulty this DVD is about equal to the Sharon Marett-Gregory DVD but the sound and production quality is far better.

If you have at least a medium level of fitness, this is the best Pregnancy DVD out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic pregnancy workout 24 Mar 2008
I have just done this workout for the 2nd time and I was so impressed that I had to write a review. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and, despite being quite fit before, I didn't do any real exercise earlier in my pregnancy because I was so exhausted. I was pleasantly surprised by how challenging this is - I don't think it will take long before I feel much fitter and more toned. The intro music is pretty cheesey but the workout itself is very well done and easy to follow. I got the DVD on the basis of the other DVDs and I'm really pleased I did. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent workout 15 Nov 2008
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I was used to going to the gym and found the other two DVDs I bought far too gentle. You'll feel like you've done a proper workout. Erin isn't annoying either.

4.0 out of 5 stars Prenatal Fitness Fix DVD 16 July 2009
By Angel
If, like me, you are looking for a pregnancy fitness routine that will help keep you in shape, then this is great DVD.

After having to give up rock climbing in pregnancy I felt that just doing the midwife recommended aqua-natal classes for 6 months was not going to keep me at my pre pregnancy fitness levels! So was looking for a work-out that is safe in pregnancy but would get my heart rate up AND has resistance work to maintain muscles shape, which this DVD does. I would recommend it if you have a reasonable existing level of fitness (but you don't have to be superwoman to do it).

The only downside is that you need a partner for the resistance work-out and mine is not always around when I want to work out. However, when you do get chance to do it together it is fun and good prep for working as a team at the birth I think.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love it 24 April 2009
I can't praise this DVD enough. I hadn't done any exercise for about 3 years, and had a child in that time so I really needed to lose some weight. About 7 months ago I decided to start off slowly with Rosemary Connelly, who is the perfect person to begin with if your not used to it! I got to the point where I wasn't being challenged any more, so after checking out the reviews on Amazon I decided to try the Davina DVDs as she comes highly recommended. I loved her DVDs and after 6 months of doing them I am still challenged, and lost 2 stone, so perfect.

I have recently found out I'm pregnant but I still want to keep on with the exercise but need to keep it down to a safe level. I HATE yoga and pilates, I just find it so boring and slow - and Erin O'Brien's DVD was the only one I could find that isn't actually afraid of physical exertion in pregnancy. I tried it for the first time this morning - I watched it though yesterday (which is always recommended with new exercise DVD's) and I can't recommend it enough to those of us who like to feel they have had a good workout.

I was worried from the picture of Erin on the front of the DVD that was going to be very 'Miss U.S of A', sickly and annoying but she is the opposite - I think she is from the East coast so she isn't patronising, I actually find her quite amusing. And the fact that she is doing it in her living room, with very little room makes it more realistic. I like the fact that there arn't a load of other random people doing it with her.

Oh and her husband (from Desperate Housewives) is a very welcome bit of candy on the end of the workout :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for getting the heart beating faster! 30 April 2009
By Spenner
I'm 17 weeks pregnant, was reasonably fit before getting pregnant, stayed active for the first two months of this pregnancy and then hit a wall of nausea that lasted six weeks, during which time I did NOTHING - barely even any walking. So once I felt better, this DVD was a godsend. Erin is totally down-to-earth, encouraging, sensible but demanding - the main thing for me, as I wanted to get fitter, so it was nice to be able to push myself, but do it safely. Having done the DVD a few times, I can recommend it to anyone - if you find it too hard at first, do fewer reps or move more slowly. It's adaptable to anyone, and a really great blend of aerobic fitness and toning. Definitely not boring or a waste of time, this DVD will see me through to the end, I hope! I also love that it's clearly not heavily scripted - so you feel like you are exercising with a real person. And she is in great, inspiring shape for a pregnant lady... Couldn't recommend it more highly!

Edited to add: I did keep doing it until a week or so before I gave birth (must admit I gave birth at 37 weeks, so I don't know if I would have kept it up after that...), and I still enjoyed it. When/if I have another baby, I'll be doing it again! It helped me stay sane, fit, flexible and in touch with the pre-pregnancy me - what more could you ask?

2.0 out of 5 stars A lot of umming and arrgghing
This DVD is very short and repeats itself. Erin also likes to ummmm and arrghh a lot which is quite distracting. I would not recommend this DVD.

4.0 out of 5 stars Definetly a workout
Good session, not sure I like the "home environment" set up of the session where she runs off to use the loo during the workout. good for heart rate workout.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hold the cheese
I wanted to get into this, but couldn't get past this lady's super corny demeanour to actually do the workout. Seriously dorky and lacking in self-respect.
