My partner and I both had Belkin Tunecasts which recently went belly up within two weeks of one-another. The rather thick cables couldn't take the wear and tear of the last year and even though we used them and stored them in different ways the cables broke up inside with such synchronicity that I wondered if they had a best before date.
As a replacement I wanted something less fiddly with less cable management and came across this little beauty. An FM transmitter for Ipods and Iphones for less than a tenner? I figured it must be cheap, nasty and of no use to man nor beast but I thought I'd give it and go and if it worked, I'd buy another for my good lady.
Well, it arrived yesterday and not only does it send a better signal than the much more expensive Belkin Tunecast, it's simpler to use, better designed, and you can charge your Ipod/Iphone in the car AND from any USB port with it. If that's not enough for you, if you plug it into the base of your Ipod/Iphone without the wire attached, it will run from the battery of your player and uses very little power to do it. I have even used it to play my Ipod through my stereo system in the house!
I have already ordered a second TeckNet Iphone FM transmitter and will be recommending them to any friends who wish more choice with when and where they can play their music.
Brilliant Value for money and works better than much, much, more expensive options.
