After about a week it stopped working. The phone would free and/or try to switch to the in car mode!!!

Stopped working after the first time I tried it
The charger worked only once and never again. It lits the red light but the phone does not charge. Don't buy it

Poor Quality HTC HD2 Car Charger
Simple, the charger is spoiled after less than 2months. I dropped it and the device dismantled and I cannot find the metal tip that fit in the car. Waste of money!!!!
