Product Description
These high quality filter/splitters are designed for use with both ADSL installations of up to 5km from the exchange and higher speed lines such as DSL Max, ADSL2 and ADSL2+. Designed to exceed the BT SIN #346 specification, this filter is ideal for difficult installations where a lesser specified filter results in synchronization issues, synchronization loss, CLI not showing or erratic etc. If it will not work with this filter, it will not work with any filter!
Suitable for use with telephones, fax machines, digiboxes and caller ID units.
Wire length approx 10cms.

I used this filter to replace a passive filter already in use on an extension phone. I am at the end of a fairly long line from the exchange. The line speed more than doubled; approx 730kb/s to 1550kb/s.

I bought this unit to fix a problem I was having with my adsl connection; we lost the adsl connection to the exchange every time the phone went. The wireless was always good, but the connection to the internet was still lost. I tried other filters and moved my cables around but no joy. This one worked fine from the start - in fact the wife is on the phone right now.

I had a problem with caller display not working when the modem was switched on. This caused failer of incoming texts on my BT line. This piece of kit, although slightly more expensive, totally cured this problem!

ADSL filter
Bought these filters to eliminate a faulty connection to the internet.Made no difference because the fault was with the internet provider

USELESS
This produce was useless. I wanted it for my telephone to get rid of the "mushy" noise when using the telephone. It made no difference whatsoever. Read more

DO NOT BUY
I am having trouble returning this because it was not even a Splitter by Safecom but a Cheaper splitter made by Newlink.

Didn't solve my problem
Our email drops whenever the phone line is in use - nothing wrong with the filter I received as such but it didn't solve the problem.

Surprised... But it worked!
Bought this based on the other reviews here. Internet speed has increased from 6.6 to 7.8Mbps, and the phone line quality is a lot clearer/ has less interference. Read more
