Before coming across Mr. Bolante's work I had tried several times to learn premiere cs4 and each of them was a complete failure. The books are too long and unfriendly, and the other DVDS that I had bought spoke in a way that I just couldn't understand. Finally I gave myself the last chance: and I am happy I did it. Mr. Bolante's lessons are clear, well-structured, organic... and what's more he doesn't take anything for granted and he respects the fact that you might be a complete beginner. He doesn't show off his knowledge of the topic just to look good, with the result of getting you confused and frustrated (as it happened with the other courses I had bought). Instead, he really wants you to grasp how the software works and he puts all his effort in that direction. Thanks Mr. Bolante, you really know how to teach.

Its, very expensive and its so basic, its better to watch tutorials from the site of adobe, or even from the web.........DISAPOINTED

If Your New to Video Editing

This is a nice course although it's much better (cheaper) to subscribe to [...]. The aforementioned website also has a follow-on course using more advanced Premiere features as well as yet another course teaching you Encore - all this for around $25 a month, no contracts, quit anytime. I went this route taking notes and am now proficient enough with the prementioned software to do some relatively neat things.

Although I am familiar with similar NLE systems, this is my first go-round with PP. This DVD tutorial has been a huge help and while I think it's a bit pricey (the only reason I gave this 4 starts instead of 5)I think it's worth it.
