With the many varied systems for editing film, training is almost impossible to find. Adobe Premiere Elements 8 version is a very good system. These training sessions on DVD by Jeff Sengstack are FIRST CLASS. They run from taking the media onto the computer to producing the DVD or sharing the film other ways. He talks you through Premiere's tools and options. You see the computer screen and what he is selecting and the changes on the timeline. Did you not understand that? Go back and replay it as many times as you need. Weeks later, if you can't remember how to do something, play that section again. It is like having a personal tutor so you get the best out of Adobe Premiere Elements 8. (It may say XP or Vista on the box but also works on Windows 7.)

Good Training On Very Bad Software

I really want to give this a zero or one star, not because of the training, but because of the usless software it supports. This is a DVD not a CD as advertised by Amazon. The problem with this training DVD is it trains you on one of the worst video editing software packages (Premiere Elements 8). The training was good but the software (read reviews at Amazon and online before you buy) is problem prone, will freeze your computer, will produce the dreaded Blue Screen of Death, etc. I spent many hours editing video only to have it fail on every attempt to save it to DVD or an avi file. All project files ended up being corrupted. I purchased the Cyberlink Power Director 8 Ultra software from Amazon and completed several projects without a problem. I hope a training DVD will soon be made for Power Director.
