Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a very well made and sturdy safety gate. Grandad has subjected it to rigorous testing, and cannot fault it. Impossible for little people to work out how to open, but simple for adults and access in and out of rooms is easy as the gate opens both ways. We need to use this gate in various doorways, and the pressure indicator gives peace of mind that it is correctly installed when it is moved to the various locations We chose the black finish because it suits our decor, but this gate comes in other finishes.

Good quality. Very easy to assemble although the extensions (an extra purchase) gave me a few moments of head scratching. Looks about as good as this type of addition to your home can, the black colour melt into my decor better than the usual white. Purchased for the stairs, so pleased I've purchased a second one for the kitchen door.

very sturdy once pressure fitted into our doorframe fairly easy to do :-)
Used just to keep new sausage dog puppy from sneaking around the house!
Much better looking than the boring white ones!
Also Has a lift up double locking handle which would be great as a safety feature for kids but I leave it flicked up as no need to use this i just open & lower it back in place to keep it closed :)
