These oven gloves are very well made, the wadding was very thick and had to wring and flex it to make pliable. However, they are very heat resistant and once used a little very easy to handle, I bought two of these to match cooks apron. One word of warning, ensure for first couple of washes only wash with black items as colour runs quite a lot (but common sense really)

Can only echo the other comments - really good value, really well made, really thick effective insulation. They are indeed a bit stiff to grasp things at first, I nearly dropped a tray first time I used them, but they soon soften up.
