I absolutely love this machine, it's great not only for the spaghetti cutter, but for making lasagne and I even made ravioli!!!
It is easy to use, clean and store.
A great product that I would recommend to anyone

I have just returned this product for a full refund, because on its first outing from the box, three of the four screws holding the footplate on unscrewed themselves and fell out during use. The internal threads did not appear to be fastened to anything and therefore fell into the body of the machine, where they are still rattling around. Useless.

Garbage in a box. It broke the first time I used it, unable to change thickness of pasta and the roller keeps moving between thick and thin.

I ordered this pasta maker in Sept for a xmas gift, it was used twice and on the second time it was used the dial that is required to set the thickness of the pasta sheared and no longer works therefore rendering the item useless.
I contacted the seller and was told by them that they only guaranteed the item for 30 days and were not prepared to do anything about it and told me to contact the manufacturer.
Now as far as I'm aware the seller offered for sale the pasta maker and I purchased it which makes the contract between the seller and myself. If they have a problem with there supplier then they should take it up with them and not try to evade any responsibility by passing there customers onto the manufactuer. I have just notices that you can still buy this pasta maker through Amazon. This item is of extremely poor quality (ready for the bin) broke after 2 uses and worse than that neither the seller or Amazon wanted to take any responsibility for selling inferior goods. save yourself some money and don't buy

I was really excited about getting this pasta machine. I used to have an Imperia in another house but moved to a smaller place and had to give it up. Now I've moved in to a new, bigger space and actually have somewhere I can attach it.

The first thing I noticed however, was that the machine was very tinny and the quality poor. Plastic handle and the fitting for the spaghetti/tagliatelle attachment was poor and slightly misaligned.

The first time I used it, the plastic handle separated. It screwed back together easily enough, but constantly unscrewed and needed to be sorted with every run through of the pasta. Although annoying this wasn't entirely a deal breaker. It made decent pasta, if not exactly like the Imperia.

The 2nd time I used the machine the knob for width selection seemed a little sticky. Not a huge deal but by the 3rd use it was jamming and sticking and it was very difficult to select the width. On my 2nd run through of the pasta the handle jammed completely. I thought I'd jammed the pasta in the machine by accident but it came out very easily. The knob had completely jammed and when I pulled gently to try and unstick it, the entire thing came off - the mechanism had completely jammed and then snapped.

The machine is now obviously unusable and I might have put this down to a 'random accident' and asked for a replacement had the overall quality of the machine not been very very poor. I have now ordered another Imperia from Amazon (their returns process is really simple and I'm very impressed with it).

Works as it should. I didn't know that is needs to be screwed on to table which has created a bit of a problem. But I like it, it cleans easily and does as it says.

I was given one of these for Christmas. The instruction booklet (a folded piece of paper) was only slightly helpful and it took a visit to the library to get proper guidance. The first time I used it I found that it clogged up and didn't pass the dough through properly. I sorted this by making the dough drier. Then the adjustment knob kept bouncing out of position and letting the rollers vary the thickness of the dough. Having said all this the pasta tasted great!

TI since used it several times since and the knob has continued to 'bounce' but I have persevered and enjoyed the pasta produced until last week when the knob bounced again, the rollers jammed solid and then the knob fell off!!! Needless to say it's gone back for a refund.

Would I buy another machine? Yes, but a 'better' one, NOT one of these.
