Wanted something to sit on a shelf overhead, but still be easily accessible. This compact rack turns just by pushing gently on any of the jars, or the base. I removed the handle at the top, and it fitted neatly on the bottom shelf of a wall cupboard.
All the spices had a long date on them - late 2013 or early 2014. The spices included in my rack were:
Chilli powder mild
Parsley flat leaf
Mixed spices
Chives
Curry powder medium
Basil
Turmeric
Marjoram
Cumin ground
Mixed herbs
Paprika
Rosemary
Cinnamon
Oregano
Coriander ground
Thyme
All the spices had a long date on them - late 2013 or early 2014. The spices included in my rack were:

I bought this for a gift for my daughter and am delighted with it. Yes the stand at the bottom on which the stand rotates will fall off when lifting it out of the box but you just set it straight back on..how often do you move a spice rack?? and just hold it when you do. Excellent selection of spices and spins easily...so good I am now going to buy one for myself!

Good compact item - useful set of spices - good to be able to add your own spices as well, as long as they are the same dimensions as Schwartz jars. Looked at so many other types where the jars were lovely but you were not able to add your own spices and/or labels - you had to stick with the one they gave you or apply other stickers over the labels which detracts from the appearance. This set means that you can add as many of your own as you like. Certainly works for me.
