Product Description

Easy to fit and easy to use, this harness never causes coughing, gagging or choking because the chest strap rests low across the breastbone, not on the delicate tracheal area. Stops pulling by steering dogs to the side and redirecting their attention. The patent-pending martingale loop provides extra leverage for easy, relaxed control and prevents harness twisting and gapping. Sizing guide: Please note that we only carry select sizes of Premier Easy Walk Harnesses. See sizing options in the checkout box below. Click here to see the instructions document. Parts: A. Chest piece with a martingale loop with a D-ring for easy leash attachment B. Shoulder strap C. Belly strap Fitting Instructions: Step 1: Fit the shoulder strap a) Open the quick snap buckle on the belly strap. b) Place the shoulder strap over the dog’s head with the chest strap resting on the dog’s chest. c) Adjust the shoulder strap so that the connector ring sits above and behind the dog’s shoulder. Step 2: Fit the belly strap a) Tighten the shoulder strap to a comfortably snug fit, allowing for just a finger’s width underneath. The snug fit is required because the girth creates the "foundation" that keeps the harness in place. b) When the girth (shoulder and belly straps combined) is fitted correctly, it should resemble a vertical line. Step 3: Fit the chest strap a) AFTER you have the girth properly secured, begin to fit the chest strap. Gently press fingers on lower front of dog’s chest to locate the breastbone. b) Adjust each portion of the chest strap equally to keep the D-ring centered. c) When adjusted correctly, the chest strap will be horizontal, resting over the dog’s breastbone. It should sit nearly parallel to the ground and should not "hang down" or gap. d) Attach the leash to the D-ring on the chest strap. Please note: You may need to remove the harness during fitting to make these attachments. Also dogs may "tense up" during fitting, so ch

I have a lab x who is just so excited to get to where ever we are going, she pulls, pulls and then pulls some more. I have tried everything Halti Head Collars - just walked sideways, loopy harness - hides under the table when I get it out the cupboard, Halti Harness - couldn't get it to fit properly and many many others but to no avail.

Also two dog trainers spend hours with her - again without success

When I received the harness this afternoon and I have managed to adjust it easily and so off we went. HOORAY, The first walk without being dragged down the road and the lead pinching my fingers, it just genius.

I saw this type of harness being used by Victoria Stillwell and thought that it made sense. My dog would be choking and gasping for breath due to her constant pulling, but with the harness, she just trotted ALONG side of me not trying to tow me down the road - such a relief as I thought nothing would work.

So a big thank you to the manufactures and to Amazon. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I have a 2 year old labradoodle who pulls badly. This is the first harness that has worked. I was recommended it by a local dog trainer.

The other non-pull harnesses I tried all had the lead connecting at the shoulders which enabled the dog to use her chest to pull (like huskies are trained to pull a sledge). I also tried the halti head collar, but this distressed her.

The premier harness fastens at the front. For some reason this stops the dog from pulling. My dog now walks nicely to heel. I'm not sure why this harness works. Because it worked so well straight away, at first i was concerned that it could be restricting the dogs movements or causing discomfort, but I'm now fairly sure that this is not the case. She certainly doesn't show any signs of discomfort.

I have been careful not to use the extending lead with this harness, so that every time that we it we are practicing walking to heel. I have also found that as a result she is better when i take her out on just the collar.

Its definitely worth a try.

Over the last umpteen years we've had five Border Collies from pups. They've generally been very well-behaved, obedient dogs but they have ALL pulled on the lead really badly. I've tried all of the usual gadgets - Halti, Gentle Leader etc. - and none of them really helped.

Having read good things about the Premier Easy Walk Dog Harness I thought I had nothing else to lose, and that it would be worth a try. From the first fitting on my current collie Bryn it has worked like magic. It's not even clear why it works - it just does! I thought he would resist it, like all the other gadgets; but no, instant calm is imposed and we can both enjoy what used to be a stressful experience.

I just can't recommend this item too highly.

Thought the reviews for this product were too good to be true and I'm afraid I was right. Harness worked beautifully at the beginning but unfortunately my dog seemed to get used to it and started pulling again. Must admit that he doesnt pull as much as he did with other harnesses I've tried so it is a bit of an improvement but just not as good as I was hoping it would be.

Great product. Easy to fit and works really well. I use them with all three of my dogs. Just be careful as the strapping can rub on the shoulders and under arms so I put padding in these areas or use the harness over a coat if this happens.

I bought this for my border collie pup. For reference purposes shes 14kg and we think she might be crossed with a lurched as she's very slender, we bought the medium and with a bit of tightening it fits her really well. Her old harness (either the loop on the back) allowed her to pull and eventually gave her a bad back as she would arch her back when pulling.

It fastens across the back and under the front two legs, the fastening loop is over the chest but tends to pull to the side if you don't have a loose lead. There's also 2 loops on the sides (by the shoulder) which I've used for the lead before and they work well but would rub on a long walk.

Meg is a well trained dog but the one thing she can't grasp is walking on a loose lead, with this harness she pulls about 70% less as the lead doesn't allow her to harness her power to pull. It's not s miracle cure to pulling and a dog prone to pulling will still require training but this goes a long way to helping.

There has been a tiny bit of rubbing under the front legs but nothing to worry about, Meg hasn't complained and it went away quickly. I'd definitely recommend this for a pooch that pulls!

Was sceptical about whether this harness would work but out basset puppy was pulling on the lead so much that after every walk my arms were aching. This product worked straight away! Our puppy now walks to heel. Happy to recommend it.

Having tried various different anti-pull harnesses for my young springer spaniel who pulls like a train whenever we go out, this is the best so far. Although still not perfect (I'm not sure such a product exists!) it does reduce the weight he can get behind his pull therefore making our walks much easier on my arms and shoulders. I do find i have to readjust it when i put it on him each time, and sometimes mid-walk, as the adjustment buckles do tend to slip, and i have to pay more attention to keeping the lead from going slack as it can sometimes trip him due to attaching at the front rather than the back. A small price to pay though in my opinion!
