Brilliant fan, noise is preferable to sweltering heat.
We typically have it on either low / medium setting in our living room during a hot spell.
Fans are far more efficient than air conditioning which relies on sizing an area & keeping it sealed ultimately.
Ok, as this is a floor fan simply point the fan rotors up at the ceiling & turn it on low, basically this will draw & circulate the air from the top down, furniture won't block the draught in this manner based on ceilings being flat,(whereas firing across a room tends to merely block or blow across a confined area) ideally place your fan where it can blast upwards without being encumbered by room corners (or as near as is practical)
Now you Should have a constant draught that permeates all aspects of the room, akin to having a gusty cool window open.
Very effective & stable kit, (we've had ours 5yrs) useful though if they'd design a hanging bracket like the bionaire models tend to have.

very quite for a fan of this size and the amount of air circulated on the top speed is fantastic. very happy and had it on continuos run for quite some time without any problems. would definetely recommend if you have a large room or area. and on top of that the chrome made it look less industrial.

I took delivery of my PREM-I-AIR 18" fan today. It has a neat and functional industrial design, exactly what i expected. Three speed settings are easily understood and the buttons are independent of each other so there is none of the fiddly and confusing aspects associated with a rotary switch. While lightweight it is still seemingly robust.
The power cord is a little shorter than ideal but it is good enough for plugging into the wall behind a piece of furniture and yet still having manoeuvre room. The fan is not too noisy even on high speed which is great!

The fan is sturdy, well made and powerful. It seems fairly quiet. We use it in a conservatory which gets hot in summer.. We are pleased with this product.
