Lovely story of love and hate between Lea of Montreau and her one-time boyfriend Jared of Warehaven. Lea has an unhappy marriage behind her when Jared is sent by the queen to protect her because her husband has gone missing. At first, Lea plans for Jared to get her pregnant because she needs to be able to prove that an heir is on the way, else she might lose her castle, but Jared is embittered because she dumped him many years ago....

this book was missing something to me. I love romance novels and it seemed a little lacking. Jared seem like a bully and Lea needs to grow a spine. Its a fair novel. I did fine myself skimming the pages to get to the interesting things. Love scenes seems lacking. The idea was great but kind of fail apart. This is just this reader's thoughts
