It felt to me that this book that has already been written about alternative therapies but the word pregnancy slipped in where approrpiate. It might say on one page that lavender oil is good for headaches and then on another page that lavender oil shouldn't really be used in pregnacy.I think some of the suggestions are for quite specific treatments that need a little more analysis than one paragraph here and there and so the vague descriptions of what to do in these cases are irresponsible and could be dangerous.If like me you know enough previously about alternative therapies then maybe its ok but you are probably aware of them anyway but I worry that someone coming to alternative therapies new would feel very lost and confused by these very superficial suggestions for example " a headache may be relieved by massaging acupoints gallbaldder 20 at the back of the neck.." and nothing more about where the hell acupoint 20 is.
