Review

Great for Dads! This little book is aimed more at Dads, its set up like a Haynes car manual, its a fun way of looking at pregnancy starting from early pregnancy through to when the baby arrives, its informative and light hearted. I gave it to my husband to read and he laughed at lots of comments his favourite being about snoring, he enjoyed the book more so than I did. All in all a great little book, worth a read...... This is quick and easy to read and a good size which can fit in your handbag. I got this when I was 7 months pregnant so it would have been better to have earlier in pregnancy. It is American and so I thought some of it not relevant for expectant mothers in UK. I liked the simple, quirky pictures and lists such as what to pack in hospital bag. This would probably be a good book for fathers-to-be to read. Overall a good, light hearted read which gives the basics and ideal for first --The baby website, March, 2010

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this book!!! 21 Jan 2010

I was looking for a book that didn't give me a panic attack and information overload. This book was perfect for me! I love the illlustrations too! I get lightheaded when I see more than I want to, or get queasy when there is WAY to much information. This is well put, enough information about pregnancy... I also bought the Baby version as well. Great job!

I bought this as a gift for a relative of mine, she loved it. It's written differently than most pregnancy books, but still offers the same great imformation. She said she read it quicker and was more interested in it than other books. I'd definatly buy it again or recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to any Pregnancy 28 Dec 2010
By VRCST - Published on Amazon.com

Both my wife and I have really enjoyed reading this (we are expecting our first baby in July) and despite the wealth of information available from every other mother we know, it still offers additional information and insight that we have found to be very helpful. The illustrations are cute and funny, and the text itself is very well written and easy to understand. A very amusing but very useful reference!
