I already use a gym so when I became pregnant wanted to carry on doing so safely. This book is excellent, covering many different types of gym equipment and classes, swimming and running, and advising what is suitable for those who are or are not used to exercising. It breaks the advice down into trimesters and is written in a no-nonsense, friendly manner. Also provides good core muscle activities that can be done at home, Kegel exercises and some sensible healthy eating advice. There's a list of unsuitable activities. She also explains why things are or are not recommended. The format is nice too, it's a very user-friendly book. Highly recommended.
