Stealing Bug fighter

What is better than a story that has five animorph kids and a alien trying to steal a bug fighter. I loved this book. Unfortanly the book was a quick book. This is from a ten year old. I love the twists in this book. Marco finding out his (dead) mom is a controller, almost being boiled alive, and almost distroyed by ants. Yeah ants. K.A. Applegate is a great author. Animorphs is a wonderful science fiction book. At school they where pretty popular for a while, but now even though I am not very popular I am trying to bring the Animorph books back to popularity. This is probily the best place to start.

OK, so.... a scholastic based series that has 54+ books in it, each ~150pp. sounds boring, right? Not. My 10 year old son turned me on to these books and I must say, they are very enjoyable. They are not high brow, nor terrible. They are not excessively complex and intriguing (like Harry Potter) but they are not disappointing and inconsistent (like the Alchemist series). They do have a lot of grammatical errors (like the Maze Runner series) but somehow, it works (unlike the Maze Runner series). Overall, I recommend for kids who like series, science fiction, magic powers and saving the earth.
