Precious Time is a seriously old album now which I bought years ago and pulled out of my collection to play again today for the first time in ages, but looking down the track list I rediscovered how good this album is. Pat's voice was in great rock form here and I still think that Neil Geraldo was one of the most underrated guitarists of his generation because his playing on this album is second to none!
Every song is really well crafted, well arranged and well produced (although it might be interested to hear a digitally remastered version one day) from the opening chords of Promises (which was the song that turned me on to her when I first heard it on a free flexidisc from Sounds - for those of you that are old enough to remember that music paper now) to the closing reworking of the Beatles Helter Skelter.
Get Nervous is also a great album, if not quite packed with gems as PT, but it's worth it for Fire & Ice, and Anxiety alone, not to mention the killer single Shadows of the Night!
As a double pack, this is probably the best of Pat Benatar when she was at her peak. Buy these and you won't be disappointed. All Killer, No Filler so to speak. :-)
