This book is obviously based on the very good principle that parents should pray together for their children and unborn children. I think most people who buy this book would agree with that! However, some of the claims made in the book are, in my view, not very biblical or scientific. For example, it suggests that infertility can be instantly solved by prayer ("often nine months after we prayed"), that children can sense if they are loved/prayed for in the womb and those who aren't may choose to miscarry (I found this quite upsetting after losing a much-wanted baby through miscarriage), and that early childhood problems eg colic can also be attritbuted to a lack of love and attention before birth. I do welcome this book for its attempts to apply scripture to this period of parents' lives, but I don't think I will finish reading it as it is potentially damaging.
