A beautiful selection of short bible passages plus selected prayers from both past and present for each day of the month. Each day concludes with sensitive suggestions for further personal prayer.

Its odd - but there is something very life-giving about these selections which seem to breath a spirit of real devotion and which ignite one's own approach to God.

I guess it is because they come out of the author's own personal life of prayer - and the warmth catches!

I recently bought this book for the Kindle and I am very impressed. It is clearly laid out and has a great breadth of prayer and scripture in it.

Each day has a series of scripture readings, quotes and prayers to inspire the reader. I have found this very useful in a morning as each days worth of material can be read fairly quickly - but the theme will continue to come back into mind throughout the day. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to have some sort of prayer rhythm to their life - a great start to any day!

This is a really lovely selection of prayers and adapted scriptures, etc.

It's helpful to have a kind of structure to guide one's prayers, and this has clearly been put together with thought and prayer by the author.

Some of the categories are prayer are things that it's easy to overlook without prompting, and even in the "obvious" categories there are some beautiful and helpful prayers.

Highly recommended.
