From the first beat to the last, this tune oozes quality.
I'm a massive fan of Pete, but never really got fully into the Streets, until the summer of this year where I saw them perform at one of the biggest festivals in country, where they pretty much outshone every other band there. Mike's charisma and rapport with the crowd was remarkable and I really started to appreciate the quality of his music.
So when I heard about the possibility of this collaboration I knew it would be amazing, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Both Doherty and Skinner have publicly been scrutinised about there drug use over the years and this record reveals the harsh realities of drug use and "prangin' out".
It's definitely a different style for Pete, and some have critisized his work on this record, recognising it as a poor attempt at rapping.
He is in fact a talented poet and showcases it hear brilliantly.
Give it a listen and judge for yourselves.
I however believe it's incredible
