Bought these binoculars as a gift and knowing very little about what I was looking for other than the fact they were replacing a very old set of 10 x 50, I researched thoroughly and was guided by the reviews on these very well priced binoculars. The recipient was not disappointed - the fantastic clarity and ease of handling, not too heavy, make these a winner and I would highly recommend them. Even I can use them, fully focused with no problem.....!!

These binos are excellent for clarity and focus(given the price range), great light gathering and magnification. But there is always a down side with any cheap product... These bins should show clear focus at 10 meters closest range, thats OK for medium to long distance viewing, but not much good for backyard birdwatching. My pair (which i am returning) were even worse than that would not focus inside 15 meters (I measured this carefully) so hopefully a second (exchanged) pair will be better. Also it appears that one of the objective lenses had a red optical coating, strange as the other three lenses are visible blue coated! all in all they not bad for cheapies, but sadly my pair were far from acceptable quality!
i saw these at an amazing price of £14 listed as used and thought was i going to be dissapointed with quality or range or damage, but no, at that price i wish i ordered more! feel sturdy and metal body has a comfortable and solid feel. comes with a carry bag and rubber protection for the eye piece and lenses.
