The format and cross referencing of this book is terrible.

A ridiculous amount of the cross referencing is inaccurate resulting in you spend most of the time standing in the street looking like a lemon trying to work out exactly what you're heading too. Also the map provide has one major inaccuracy, the astronomical clock is not circa two streets from the old square, its in it.

I have always been a fan of Lonely Planet but this guide is a massive massive disappointment.

I found this guide hard to read, with inaccurate references and genuinely problematic maps. I also found myself wondering at times if the author had actually visited some of the places she recommends, or she was just going on hearsay. I mean I really couldn't match up the reality of what I was seeing with what she was describing. A street lined with "several independent designers, scurrilous bars and arty caf�s" had maybe three bland stores and all of TWO caf�/bars. I walked up and down the whole length of the street twice.

I tried to visit at least two sites that couldn't have possibly ever existed where they are listed - this wasn't a case of outdated information, this was a case of a 200-year-old solid wall not showing signs of ever having had a store window opening, or any other kind of opening, in it. And the maps - I am excellent at reading maps, so good in fact that I inevitably get assigned the task of navigator no matter whom I'm traveling with - but here I found myself again and again staring at the street and being unable to match its reality with the drawing in my hands.

Finally, what good is it to give me a phrase book if you give me ZERO hints on pronunciation? The simplest word: ahoj (hello) - I can think of at least four different ways of pronouncing that, which one is it?

Very nice photographs, that's what the second star is for.
