Most grammar books cover a lot very quickly with just a couple of examples. This book covers a smaller area but very thoroughly. The workbook format encourages you to write on the book but at it's minimal cost, that's fine. Fairly heavy going, as you'd expect but by the time you've worked your way through this, you will have a good A level understanding of pronouns/prepositions. Recommended.

I bought the whole set of these on someone's recommendation and haven't looked back. All the points are very well explained and the exercises are very reinforcing.

having recently done a Beginner's French course I felt a pressing need for a means of practising and reinforcing this complex area of French grammar. English is much simpler with repeated use of the same preposition in many contexts - not so with French. You have to learn by heart. This text is an ideal way to practise. It also has lots of useful vocabulary and provides exercises in sentence construction.
