Brilliant last minute cheat sheet for anyone doing the LPC.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Legal Practice Companion 2002/2003 (Blackstone Legal Practice Companion) (Paperback)
This is not a substitute for compulsory subject course text books, or your own session notes, but it can save you stressing over last minute revision notes, because there's often not enough time to do your own properly as you go along. The diagrams are clear and checklists and summaries comprehensive. The only negatives are the Company Law Procedure table, which you will need to extend and expand, and the Tax section, which is a bit confusing. Having said that, I thank this book for getting me a distinction in my compulsories. Buy it, take it to a print shop and get them to unbind and hole-punch it for you, add it to your files to take into your open-book exams. Definitely worth the investment!

Without question the single most important purchase you will make as an LPC student. For those of you at the C of L, you may be encouraged to ignore this book as I was. I say to you, do so at your own peril. If you wish to gain a competitive advantage and cut down on your work load, then here is your answer. You will not be disappointed.

I have to say I was little sceptical about purchasing any book relating to the LPC but this is a real dream; it explains everything you need to know in an easy and understandable way. The book itself is thick and looks off-putting but don't let it, you will be amazed at the information that it contains and the ease with which you will pick up ideas and thought process you need to be a solicitor. The flow charts and diagrams make learning and understanding much quicker. I cannot reccommend this book enough, even if you are a hard up student this book is a must.
