This book is a little gem: why? There are snippets here and there in other books about Planetary Magick but you have to work out the rest of it yourself, as the infomrationis either too basic or incomplete. Now this book, ok, it may look a slim book, ut within its pages is everything you need, plus more, that you wanted to know about working with the Planets.
The authors describe the seven Classical Planets, mainly as they were the planets most referred to and of course, our days of the week are named after them; but the book also has a section on the 3 outer planets, which tend to get ignored. This section includes magickal squares and other relevant information (sure, it would have been nice for them to have had the full treatment the other planets get!)
In brief, you have:
descriptions of the Planetary Energies
descriptions of the the Planetary Deities
descriptions of the Olympian spirits AND how to work with them
sigils
Planetary Hours and Days
and the list goes on.....
If you want to work magick with the help of the Planets, then this is your book.

Whilst I have thoroughly enjoyed other books by these authors, this is by far my favourite book by these them and indeed possibly my favourite book on the subject of magick of the last decade. I think its worthy of six stars, if such a thing was possible.
Planetary Magick should be and in my opinion is one of the corner stones of magical practice, regardless of tradition. Understanding how the Sun, the Moon and the other five classical planets affect our wellbeing and the energies here on Earth is absolutely essential for success. This is one of the reasons astrology is such a popular subject, people (even those in the mainstream) acknowledge that the planetary influence on us is tremendous, yet for some reason planetary magick has long been the subject of neglect in the Western Mystery Tradition, until now.
This books presents, in a clearly set out and well thought out manner, a wealth of material on planetary magick. There are some brilliant meditations and a very powerful new ritual which is ideal to perform for personal work. I have found the planetary pyramid workings to also be absolutely amazing, both on a personal level and as the basis for planetary work in a group.
Everything you could possibly want is gathered here and the Bibliography and MSS listed at the back will give you plenty of further sources to investigate if you want to take things to a much higher level still.
I believe that this book will appeal to both ceremonial magicians and those who are interested in Goddess spirituality equally. It should likewise be of interest to Wiccans and Pagans, as well as seekers of the light and every spectrum inbetween. Brilliant work.

As usual, David and Sorita has done a great job writing a book. I have got almost all of their books and they never dissapoint me. It is very well structured and easy to understand. It is a good book for both beginners and experienced. I love it. Well done!
