...then this is the book for you! An excellent book for learning what an Information Audit is, how to conduct one and the necessary steps you must take, how Information Management and Knowledge Management interact during this process and what's happening between the two most misinterpreted scientific fields of Information Management and I.T. Management. You will learn many things about the informational perspective of your organisation and how changes affect the information needs of every company! Finally a well documented chapter about information strategies and the overall "spiral" structure of them!
AAA. It's money well...invested!

Although a little pricey this book is worth its weight in gold to the serious Information professional. Orna's style is unambiguous and helpful throughout. Equally suitable for those just starting out in Information work, and essential for anyone attempting to inititiate specifc Information projects such as Information Audits, Information Requirements Analysis etc. The layout, graphics etc. are well designed, and a number of case studies illustrate the benefits and challenges likely to be met. Covers Information Audit, (planning, conducting and reporting findings), devising Strategies, Information Management skills and tools, and Knowledge Management. References are also thorough and helpful. I would highly recommend this book.
