A practical guide to dragon riding contains chapters on dragon basics, raising a dragon (including how to find one, and how to treat the egg and wyrmling), the stages of a dragon's life, the different types of dragons. Then follows a detailed description on how to mount and fly a dragon with lots of tips on various flying issues, including combat. The last part contain info on other types of flying creatures (like griffon) and dragonkind, including land wyrms, draconians and zombie dragons.
A practical guide to dragons starts with a dragon's anatomy, and a little about dragon combat and a good portion sized part on detailed information on the types of dragons.
These two books are made like they're actually non-fiction, same as the Dragonology books, but without the pop ups.
Both of the practical guides are absolutely lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed the contents and the illustrations.
A must-buy for dragon lovers of all ages!
