This book is a suitable and valuable reference guide for all Level 1 Beauty Therapy students to follow no matter which awarding body qualification they are following; whether it be City and Guilds; VTCT; or ITEC etcetera. In this book it is clear that the authors understand how difficult it is to make those first steps in to the Beauty Therapy industry. A common misconception is that this industry is an easy one to succeed in. How wrong this perspective is! Simms and Gould provide beginners with a solid foundation with which to build upon. Determination and a commitment to the high standards illustrated in this book will allow the burgeoning Beauty Therapist to succeed in their first small steps towards a successful career into this highly enjoyable and professional industry.
