Product Description
The IX600 range of water filters have a multi-stage filtration system built into a single cartridge which restores the natural taste of water and makes tea, coffee and cordials more appetising.
Most people realise their tap water contains chemicals which have been added during water treatment or have leached from other polluting sources. These can give water an unpleasant taste and/or odour and may give rise to health concerns.
This water filter removes up to 95% of most heavy metals, including lead, aluminium, iron, copper and cadmium, as well as removing up to 90% of dissolved organic material (such as pesticides, herbicides and oil residues). Chlorine removal is very good indeed (up to 99%), hence the water odour and taste is significantly improved.

Pozzani IX600 water filter. This product is excellent and was easy to fit.
Fitting:
Drilling the sink was made easy by using the correct drill bit and masking take on the sink to stop the drill bit 'skiddling' about. Start with a smaller drill bit and work your way up is easiest - it gives you a hole to start with and keep the drill steady. I was drinking filtered water in less than 10 minutes. There is advice all over the internet about drilling different materials (mine was stainless steel). The tap looks excellent and makes my cheap sink look much more expensive. I am no DIY expert and I rate this as easy to fit.

There are only two in my house so hopefully the filter will last longer than 6 months but I will know when it needs changed. The water in my new flat was undrinkable. It tasked bitter and metallic to me. Friends refused to drink it due to the taste as did I. I now have people doing 'the taste challenge' when they come in. I think this has drummed up business for Pozzani as I know of one friend who has already bought a filter (two more have asked me for a link to the website), as the difference in my water is so noticeable! I am extremely pleased with this product as I could not drink the water in my flat without it due to the taste and it giving me a sore stomach. Fantastic product.
Overall:
BUY IT!! If your water is of poor taste or feels as if it has a residue in it this will change it. I am extremely happy with the product and will likely be a lifelong customer - I won't move to another house without fitting one in future. Tasting is believing!

Easy to fit, if you are a bit of a DIYer. Hole needs to be drilled through the sink (or worktop) for the spout and a connector clamp needs to be fitted onto the cold water pipe.
Seems well made and the water comes out tasting better than from those filter jugs you can buy.
The actual filter container is quite high and needs at least, 13 inches of space (hight) when fitting.
Main reason for buying, to remove lead contamination from old lead supply pipe....I hope?

We installed our Pozzani 600 a month ago and are very pleased with it. I feel Pozzani's filter is excellent value for money, sturdy in construction, and good for ongoing running costs. I was really amazed by it when we got it - I wasn't expecting something so robust looking and professional. At the time it was half price so it was even more astonishing!It was fairly straightforward to install and comes with a perfectly acceptable tap that fits the look of any chrome sink so we have not felt the need to change this. Our first one leaked but Pozzani replaced it for us promptly and this one has been fine.
The water? Well we were immediately aware it tastes much much better. Clean, nice, no smell, refreshing. We found we were drinking much more of it immediately, straight from the tap - or chilled in a jug in the fridge - and this has continued to be the case. We use this water in all our cooking now, even steaming, and in our kettle.
I am very pleased to have found this reasonably priced and well constructed product. I hate having tea made from normal tap water now!!
