Developed by a multi-award winning manufacturer, this high tech portable Powergorilla battery allows you to charge your laptop, tablet, smartphones and other electronic devices on the move. The rechargeable and rugged battery offers up to 24V of charge to your power hungry devices. As a laptop charger Powergorilla will give you an extra 2-6 hours of power depending on your laptops specification, and over 20 hours on various other electronic devices. Powertraveller’s Powergorilla really is the king of the battery jungle.
Powergorilla offers a multi-voltage functionality of 5v, 8.4v, 9.5v, 12v, 16v, 19v or 24v from its high density lithium polymer battery. The higher voltages of 16V, 19V and 24V are suitable for charging laptops, netbooks and tablets. Whereas the lower voltage settings will charge Smartphones, iPods, GPS systems and much more. To identify the voltage of your device requires you to check either the supplied user manual or on the AC mains charger. If your device is normally charged using a USB socket, its maximum voltage will be 5 Volts.
Leave all other chargers behind and, from a single Powergorilla, charge all your gadgets while on the move. Powergorilla is built for almost any environment, thanks to key features such as shock resistant protection grips and a lightweight aluminium casing. A sleek and stylish design with a width of just 17mm and weighing just 700g, makes the device very portable when considering its incredible output. The Powergorilla has been field tested in Afghanistan, Madagascar and Antarctica. Being subjected to extremely hot and very cold temperatures, the Powergorilla has performed successfully thanks to its rugged and agile design.
Powergorilla is powered by a massive 21000 mAh HD Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Battery. The battery is so powerful that it will output at the same rate as an AC mains wall socket. The amount of charge you get depends on how power hungry your device is. As a laptop charger the Powergorilla will give you an extra 2-6 hours of juice, depending on your laptop’s specification. Lower powered devices such as smartphones can get up to 10 full charges. With a DC and USB output, the Powergorilla allows you to charge two devices simultaneously.
The Powergorilla will work with most major laptop and netbook brands for example Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and Lenovo. It is also compatible with virtually any 5V electronic device such as smartphones, iPods, GPS, handheld action cameras, e-readers and much, much more. Please note: To use with Macbook Pro, Macbook Air and Macbook you will need an Apple MagSafe Airline Adaptor or an alternate connection solution. The MagSafe cable is only suitable for Apple Macs incorporating the MagSafe style of connector. To charge the latest iPads you will have to purchase the gorillapad connector.
Simply recharge using the included AC mains charger which works in 150 countries (using the included adapters). Whilst the Powergorilla is plugged into the mains you can still connect other devices to charge in tandem. Alternatively you can use solar power to charge the Powergorilla, via the Solargorilla (sold separately).
One-touch button technology means the Powergorilla is easy to operate. The single button allows you to select the voltage required, turn the device off and on and select various other features. The blue backlit LCD display allows you to monitor how much charge is left, the voltage selected and displays a warning when there is 10% power remaining.
The Powergorilla comes packed with accessories to help you recharge your devices. Included are 9 mobile tips, 15 netbook and laptop tips, a bespoke neoprene case, international AC mains charger and an In-car female socket adapter. Using the 5V USB port you can plug in your own USB cable to charge devices such as the iPhone. Please see the accessories image for specific types of tips.
If you can’t live without your laptop, tablet or electronic gadgets in general, you’ll want a Powergorilla. Ideally suited for those who are regularly off-grid but rely heavily on their portable electronic devices. Equally, the Powergorilla serves a purpose as a must have travel accessory for any business person. When batteries run out or you find yourself away from the mains, Powergorilla can give your devices the juice to keep on going.
