It's an okay book, a lot of tension between them, but not my favorite....Luke and Iona had history. They met on the beach a few years before in Tahiti. Iona was kind of grieving the death of her fiancé, Gavin. They had a passionate affair, until Iona ran away...fast forward to the present age- they meet again, unexpectedly while Iona was working for her cousin as a housekeeper in Luke's hotel room. Luke made a proposition to Iona- he wanted her as a nanny to his half-sister whom he adopted, then he again propositioned marriage in order to protect the little girl. Luke and Iona fought their feelings for each other for a while especially as other personal issues got in the way.
