Book Description

When a woman embodies her feminine essence, her whole life is transformed. She becomes attractive, grounded, and sensual. When she walks into a room, everyone appreciates the glow of her feminine radiance. Men notice her, including the healthy, loving, masculine ones she desires. She does not need to project a powerful persona to attract the respect she wants. A forced sense of masculine power is nothing compared to the ecstasy, empowerment, and effortless magnetism that are released when a woman activates her feminine essence.

In this empowering book by inspirational speaker and facilitator in women’s spiritual development, Rachael Jayne Groover, you’ll discover:
• 35 practices that will increase your personal presence and magnetism immediately
• How to be authentically powerful without intimidating or pushing others away
• The 5 mistakes strong, independent women make in relationships with men
• How to make peace with your sweet vulnerability and stop living with a guarded heart

This book is for any woman who is ready to embody a greater sense of passion and purpose in what she has to offer the world. ~Janet Bray Attwood, NY Times best-selling author of The Passion Test

The magnetic quality of the ‘feminine’ can be used to land the perfect job, to have the ‘right’ person notice you at the ‘right’ time, or to negotiate calmly with your children. This book gives you the tools and easy practices to do all this and more!
~Christine Kloser, author of The Freedom Formula and creator of The Freedom Retreats

Powerful and Feminine will support you on your path to becoming a more effective and inspiring feminine leader while staying true to your clear inner voice and authentic life path.
~Spryte Loriano, Humanitarian and Children’s Advocate

5.0 out of 5 stars Every woman needs this book! 17 Sept. 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I am the Founder of Phenomenal Women Events. Rachel Jayne's book articulate's everything that I want to say to the participants that come along to my seminars, clearly, accesibly and with extraordinary wisdom. I will be promoting it to all the women I know. It explains that being in your feminine energy is powerful, not weak or fluffy, and gives us the realisation that feminine energy is all about attracting and allowing, not striving and forcing things into place. I have a two copies- one t lend to friends and one that I have written my own notes in. I only bought it a couple of weeks ago and I am already reading it agin. Buying this book will give you incredible return on you iinvestment, so order it now. You won't regret it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Tedious, nothing different 19 Mar. 2014

I read this book twice with the hope that it could be better than the first time round. I was looking to gain some benefit but this book offers all the advice you probably know. Most of this is common sense. Not worth the money or time. If you are looking on how to become more feminine, you can search it up on google and find numerous helpful articles.

5.0 out of 5 stars The title says it all! 15 Aug. 2011

This practical and fascinating book is a must for any woman looking to *experience* what her own innate feminine energy feels like, and how it really is the most powerful, radiant, and beautiful energy that she has. Yes, if you do the practices in this book they can help you attract a wonderful mate, or improve the relationship that you already have, BUT it goes WAY beyond that.

Rachael Jayne brilliantly and simply shows us with her easy practices how allowing ourselves to really be *home* in our feminine energy can make us more powerful, trustable, grounded, approachable, proficient, and respected at work, in our business dealings, with friends, co-workers, teachers, clients, and family. I feel so much more confident, skillful, respected, and just plain *happy* in my businesses. My friends and family are more open with me now, I've lost weight, have more energy and creativity, I get more done in a shorter amount of time(and enjoy it!), and my relationship with my teenager has drastically improved!

The increased confidence, peace, and pleasure I experience in my life now are a direct result of getting my head out of the way and doing the practices in this book on a regular basis. I don't feel at odds with or in uncertainty with my femininity anymore, as I'm in more understanding of it and honoring of it as I experience its wisdom and safety.
There really is something else available to us that we haven't been taught to use or be comfortable with, it's our *OWN* totally natural feminine essence! And it's been inside us the whole time.

5.0 out of 5 stars The title speaks for itself! 12 July 2011

Rachael Jayne Groover has a huge gift to share with women - her experience transformed into wisdom consciously and compassionately woven into the pages of her book showing women how they can be Powerful AND Feminine. This book will help you to embrace and more fully embody your femininity; it will support you to honour, accept, and BE the power that is inherent in that. For those of you who tend to read books, put them down, and move on to the next without applying what you've learned, there are no excuses here. Rachael Jayne has included over 30 exercises that can be practiced pretty much anywhere you are. I love that I can be standing in line at the grocery store, walking down the sidewalk running errands downtown, or sitting at my desk doing work, and when I bring my awareness to the exercises in chapter 5 (or any other chapter for that matter) I experience myself and the world around me in a brand new and more joy-filled way. Now that's Powerful AND Feminine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Tools for a Magnetic Presence! 7 July 2011
By M elody R Green - Published on
I knew I had to have Rachael Jayne Groover on my radio show "Creative Soul Cafe" when I read this book. Rachael Jayne Groover creates a strong case for women of today really 'being' in their 'feminine power'. Since the 1960's we have tended to express ourselves through our masculine selves rather than our feminine. Is it any wonder we have struggled to find our feminine ever since?
What is great about this book is that it has all the tools and exercises to take us from the disconnect of our feminine into being the juicy, creative, sensual and sexy feminine creatures we were meant to be. This is being feminine AND powerful. Here's to being powerful, having loads of energy, being totally sexy and a complimentary equal to men!

3.0 out of 5 stars Femininity to attract attention 13 Aug. 2011

This is a very easy-reading book with some great suggestions on increasing your femininity as it relates to attracting a mate. I had hoped that it would give some attention to other aspects of life in an effort to develop and increase powerful femininity in the work environment or family life when interacting with your children or other family members. So, I think the title could be "How to use your femininity to attract a man". If you're out there trying to find ways to attract a man in your life, its the perfect book but it does not really address POWER and FEMININITY in other environments.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointment. 8 Aug. 2012

Disclaimer: I did not finish this book, but only managed to get about half way through before I gave up. It is not a book for me. I was hoping this book would be about strengthening my awareness of what it means to be a woman and learning to embrace the strengths (and weaknesses)of my gender, without any of the mystical stuff that always makes me a bit impatient. I did not get that with this book. I mean seriously, "womb space"?? I don't see why women are being defined by our reproductive organs, I think there are a lot of ways women can be powerful and feminine without giving biology a fluffy and mystical makeover. This is my opinion however and I am of course aware that many women do not share my opinion!! If you are someone who is interested in this line of thinking, then you will really enjoy this book. It is easy to read (if you like what you are reading) and the author has a lot of good suggestions for meditation etc.

Women come in all shapes and sizes, and we all have different priorities, social and financial standings, different likes and dislikes. It is very disappointing to find yet another book that takes the lazy way out by lumping all women into a one-size-fits-all category. The author starts off at pains to point out that there are no hard and fast rules about what men should do and what women should do...then as the book progresses, there is an insidious creeping in of what a feminine woman would and wouldn't do, which is SO disappointing. There were 3 standout comments I remember clearly because they made my blood boil...the first was the statement that women should make decisions with their gut instincts (or with their 'womb space") rather than with their heads. This is EXACTLY the reason men for decades did not let women make decisions..because they said we were irrational creatures who would make decisions based on emotions rather than with rational thought. It's 2012, why shouldn't we use our rational minds? What is so 'unfeminine' about using our brains?
The second was the throwaway line about women who play team sports should do something feminine afterwards to balance our the aggressive, masculine activity they have just been involved in. What the..?? Perhaps we should get exercise by giggling and doing each other's hair? Why is the author buying into the whole "chicks who play sport are too manly"?
Third was the suggestion that to get 'in touch' with our feminine side, we should try something to release the sex kitten within ourselves, such as pole dancing lessons. GRRRR x a million. I am thinking of some powerfully feminine women, and sorry but I just can't see Audrey Hepburn (or Katherine Hepburn, for that matter) acting like a $20 stripper in order to feel more of a woman.
In summary - it was really disappointing that a book about increasing your power as a woman just falls into the same sexist cliches as your average Cosmo mag.
