It is difficult to comment on the ongoing quality of this product since it stopped working after barely 3 months. It had some oddities such as the @ key being in its usual place, but another symbol being on the button, and the keyboard seemed to very worn in general.
My main problem was that, when it stopped working, I was told that the 3 month warranty had expired but that the company were willing to offer free diagnostics and repair. However they would charge me for any faulty components. Worse, it was going to cost £21.98 in courier charges to get the computer to them. Apparently, I was 'most welcome' to drop it off myself, (a round trip of 229 miles).
I tried to argue that, despite the warranty having expired, I still had rights under the Sale of Goods Act, (which I do), but this was largely ignored in all of the communications. They kept referring me to Amazon's terms & conditions, but I didn't see anything there which was relevant to my problem. Frankly, I have had enough of arguing and, considering it would be far too costly to pursue a legal route, will just have to chalk this one up to experience.
Would I buy again from this trader, what do you think?
