Before you purchase a chin-up bar ensure you have a suitable door in which to install it - you need a slight space on both sides of the door, i.e. neither side must be up against a wall. This being the case there was only one suitable doorway in my entire flat. However that aside this is an excellent product. It takes my weight with ease, even though I'm sure the walls are made of nothing more than cardboard in places(!) and unlike other bars is of a sufficient height from the floor that you don't have to crouch. The bar is also wide, and enables you to place your hands at any distance apart, unlike other bars which have set hand holds, which may not be in the correct place for you. Considering the price, I am very happy with the bar and definitely made the correct choice over some of the slightly more well-known makes, which I don't believe do the job half as well.
