This only looks nice but gives you so much more time to yourself so now you can play longer without having to sit next to a plug socket. Its abit big but i kinds like it for handling since its quite small anyway. I dont recommend it if you have any other stuff connected to it as you wouldnt beable have them both but if you have some clear or rubber case that goes over then this is a great change. I thought it would add to the 3DS but you actually need to charge them both so its one then the other and a switch to turn the external battery on when you run out. Great advice... use your 3DS battery before using external
