Product Description

How do you create dialogue for the highest dramatic and emotional impact for your screenplay? Make it reveal the inner life of your characters in the most powerful yet subtle ways, drive the narrative thread forward without clunky exposition and compel great actors to want to speak it? Above all, how do you make your character unique?

The POWER UP YOUR SCREENWRITING DIALOGUE WORKOUTS for Screenwriting They Can’t Resist is a radically new and provocative approach for screenwriters who want to create powerful dynamic dialogue.

How you spell-bind an audience into an irresistible involvement with your characters and keep it entranced by that magic till the end of the film – and beyond - is to arouse, provoke, intrigue, disturb, unsettle, excite, exhilarate, frighten, gladden, mesmerize, and delight the audience’s emotions. And dialogue, as with all elements of a screenplay, plays a crucial role in how you achieve all this.

This book focuses on your screenwriting. It shows you how to power up your own screenplay as you’re writing it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor 29 Sep 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Although i have bought hndreds of books from amazon over the years this is the first time i have been moved to leave a review.

Very disappointed! although this is very cheap, £2.88, it is focussed on delivering an advert for a printed book by the author. It delineates lots of good and bad points of dialogue, but delivers no in depth resolution to these issues for that you have to buy the printed book. Amazon should categorize these books differently. Paying £2.88 for an advert is not acceptable. As a matter of principle I will not now buy the printed book by this author

This e-book is not worth anyone's time. I am so tired of reading books about how great "Pulp Fiction" is and how wonderful the dialogue is. No one can use Tarantino's gimmick again -- so why do these so-called GURUS dwell on this? And, waste three-quarters of their effort and our time on it? This author is educated at Oxford and an expert on Shakespeare and I get Pulp fiction! Again! I expected more.
