Synopsis

The Power Rangers face a dangerous new enemy in this collection of episodes from the Dino Thunder series. Mesagog and Elsa once again try to stop the Rangers and accidentally create a White Ranger with one of the Dino eggs. The Rangers are in the dark as to the pale one's identity, and Dr. O's efforts to find out the answer lead to his fossilisation. This leads the multicoloured team to find out the answer for themselves, but you can bet your life that there'll be a few Dino Zords standing in the way of their goal.

The picture isn't brilliant but good enough, sometimes you notice the difference watching all the new HD films against the old formats.
However, the film is great, it's made up of different episodes and my son loves them all.
Even though they are not the newest films, they can still keep a 2 year old boy happily entertained for hours.
There's lots of action and transforming Power Rangers into huge dinosaurs and robots.
They are just good fun really and much alike some of the old Japanese b movies with lots of bad costumes and giants walking and fighting but it's all harmless fun.
Good kids action stuff!

I ordered this item for my grandson who will be 3 in October and he was so excited to receive it, he calls them "Power Raisins"
I cld not tear him away from the tv, now for a 3yr old to be that excited about a DVD shows it was worth it. Colour, monsters etc (as he calls them) were exceptional, action kept him interested, which is what little boys like.

'White Thunder' is one of the best Power Rangers volumes available on DVD. You can't help but sense the connection between the white dino ranger and the green/white mighty morphin power ranger that was ironically doctor oliver a few years back. I think this is a lot to do with Disney taking over the franchise and trying to give a little nostalgia to the Power Rangers community. All good in my book of course! The DVD cover art is quite good and laid out in a presentable fashion with a picture of Zeltrax and Mesogog on the back.

*FROM THE BACK OF THE DVD COVER*

'As Defenders filled with might, They turn darkness into light. Nothing is what it seems as Dino eggs bring out a risky kind of zord-play. A brand new alarm surfaces when Mesagog and henchwoman, Elsa, hatch a plan to stop the rangers. The wily white ranger is born from their blunder, and the Power Rangers have no idea who he is! As Dr O is about to reveal white ranger's true identity, he gets fossilised. The power rangers will have to work together closely to subdue rad dino zords and their most powerful foe yet - white ranger.'

This volume is actually a collection of episodes from the dino thunder season presented in a movie-like fashion which is extremely feel-good. Emma Lahana plays the yellow ranger, Kira, very well in my opinion and is my most favourite ranger to date. Plus she has a lovely singing voice (even if it isn't Emma's own). The fight scenes are exceptional in this collection, the best so far in fact. And as the dino rangers reach their new level of power, so does the storyline unfold at a remarkable pace. It is presented in full frame and the bonuses are quite well-formed. You can practice ninja moves (this volume focuses on the high block kata) and also read fascinating ranger facts on virtual trading cards. A very worthwhile buy, and until they release the whole series on DVD (in the new year apparently yay), this short film will keep you going! May the power live on forever!
