It's interesting. People are becoming more comfortable talking about and using their intuition. There are literally hundreds of self-help books on the shelves of local bookstores. Yet, premonitions are still relegated to the paranormal or occult.
The Power of Premonitions attempts to take premonitions out of the shadows. The author notes that premonitions are far more common than we think. They are akin to intuition and if heeded can be just as beneficial as using intuition. The book is filled with examples of premonitions. When taken seriously, such warnings can save lives. When ignored, tragedy often occurs. It's truly fascinating how events such as 9/11 were widely broadcast as premonition and how many lives were saved because of a strange feeling or a disturbing dream.

Definitely worth a read,

If you're an absolute sceptic regarding premonitions and related phenomena then this book won't convert you.
However if you are open to the possibility of at least some premonitions being genuine and valid then this book will give you a lot to think about. Plenty of content, lively, open and interesting throughout.

I really enjoyed this book. It opened my eyes to things I knew nothing about such as pre cognative dreams. The book has many interesting case studies of where people were able to avert disaster due to future knowing. The book also references scientific studies which really question our linear view of time. It seems we can change the future and even the past - this book certainly makes one think!
