I certainly agree with the author when she says that, although parenting is rewarding and joyful, it is one of the most difficult jobs!
The author shares her personal experiences in raising her children. And, at the end of each chapter is a Bible-based prayer. Each prayer covers a particular aspect of a child's life e.g. spirituality, health, emotions, friends, protection, relationships, purity, education, etc.
I must say that I have found this book to be an invaluable resource when praying for my daughter. I would encourage ALL parents (who believe in the power of positive prayer) to purchase this book. It's a wise investment in your child(ren)s future!

Stormie Omartian's 'Power of a Praying wife/husband' titles are both superb reads and this is too. Without ever being patronising, Stormie shares her life experiences with candour and warmth, and sets out an accessible framework for making praying for one's kids an integral part of everyday life. Highly recommended for all Christian parents of kids from 0-40!

A brilliant book to read right through. There are 30 chapters with a prayer at the end of each chapter. One can then use one prayer each day of the month.

Useful hand book
Excellent book. Can be used over and over again. addresses different areas of a child's life that one may not even have considered. useful bible quotes.
