Anyone who works out realizes that it takes more than just running to firm and tighten the muscles of the legs and more than just dieting and indirect training to develop a chiseled midsection. Read the first page

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST AB BOOK, 21 Feb 2000
By "fredneets" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Power Factor Specialization: Abs and Legs (Paperback)
The information provided in this latest edition of the "Power Factor Specialization" series is first-rate. All scientific, all proven and geared to make every workout efficient, this book is the ultimate ab (and leg) training book I've ever read. If you want a chisled midsection and muscular, powerful legs, then you will definitely benefit from the information in this book. All of the ab and leg exercises are rated, so that you will never again waste time on an unproductive exercise. The Power Factor Specialization series is the best "training" series of books I've ever read. They should be compulsory for all personal trainers who take their business seriously.

1.0 out of 5 stars Perhaps even more misleading than the original Power Factor book., 13 July 2005
By . - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Power Factor Specialization: Abs and Legs (Paperback)
Power Factor Training is a theory that has been disproven by -thousands- of dissatisfied trainees, (yes it works for a -tiny- minority of genetically appropriate responders) . In the case of midsection work, it's even more useless. The only thing that makes your abs look good is -leanness-. A combination of diet, full-range strength building and aerobic exercise is the way. Power Factor Training does nothing for enhancing leanness, nothing. (If anyone thinks the model on the cover got this way from Power Factor Training, think again).
