This is a very misleading. The description says that this product offers support for blu-ray, followed by an asterisk, without saying anywhere what the asterisk refers to. What the asterisk refers to is a caveat "only available with Power DVD ultra". So in other words this standard version of the software does NOT read Blu Ray disks. You need the £40 version for that.

The product plays DVD's exactly like is said on the packaging. This version of PowerDVD doesn't play Blue-ray Disks and a lot of the advanced features are also disabled in this version. But otherwise the pictures are very clear and the sound clear as well.

when purchasing this product ,notice it says it plays Blueray discs.this is un true as you need to purchase the upgrade to enable this. I made this mistake and only found out when i recieved the product.
