5.0 out of 5 stars Big Winter 15 Mar 2013

I am a big girl and usually have a hard time finding show gear that suits me, however these are stellar. They are very light and easy to maneuver in. The straps take a bit of getting used to, but once you figure them out they are easy to adjust and can be done solo without any trouble. All the connections and hardware seem quite well made and have held up to a few long trips so far. I think the price and quality are great, they make me a little sad that spring has arrived.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice snow shoe 17 Feb 2013

I had a set of discount store snow shoes before these. Too small (my fault) and a difficult binding system that did not really work. The Crest has ratchet bindings that makes getting into and out of the shoes easy.

These shoes are of quality construction and are easy to use. I would suggest getting a pair of gaiters if you are not using boots.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pros and Cons and Advice 9 Jan 2014

Pros - They make walking in knee-high snow MUCH easier; they also provide decent grip on ice because of the metal spikes on the bottom.

Cons - The boot lock in and release straps are difficult to operate, especially in cold weather with limited finger functionality. They take me a long time to get on/off (5-10 minutes).

Advice - I would suggest wearing waterproof, top-of-your-boot-covering gaiters. The straps that lock your boots in grab and lock in blocks of snow to the top of your boots. If you have lace-up boots you could be in for some wet feet.
