The Pourty potty has a unique patent pending pouring duct so that you can empty the potty without any dribbles or mess. When you empty a conventional potty you have to empty the contents over the seating area and any pee dribbles down the outside of the potty and all over the place. The Pourty potty has a handle at the front making it easy to pick up your child’s potty and pour the contents out of the back away from where the child sits or touches. The lip at the top of the duct is designed so that there should be no dribbles down the outside of the Pourty. You can then simply refill the Pourty with water and wash it out.
The Pourty is very comfortable for the child to sit on because the seating area is wide and ergonomically designed. The two sides of the back rest offer ample support. The Pourty is made out of thick sturdy plastic making it more stable and harder for your child to knock over.

The potty is both comfortable and functional - the curved design of the seat fits well for a child and the handle and `spout' making pouring away what's left behind easy.
The only downside is that the child is somewhat near the front when seated, which is also a little low, and when my son stands up there is normally some `dribble' on the floor - this probably wouldn't be a problem for a girl though.
So, despite the high price versus other options, a good buy.

I admit I was a bit skeptical when I bought this potty - having used other potties I didn't really feel convinced that the easy-to-pour function would either work, or really add much to a standard potty. I could not have been more wrong. This is a fantastic potty - sturdy (for those of you buying a potty for the first time, believe me, this matters), comfortable, but most of all easy to empty. With other potties you pour the contents over the back of the seat, and more often than not, all over the loo seat and the floor around it. With this potty, the spout pours cleanly and neatly, and doesn't even drip. It is so simply and obvious once you use it, but this is the only potty I've seen like it on the market. I was at my mum's house at the weekend and I used one of her old potties. As I emptied it in the loo, it splashed all over the seat and I thought wistfully of my pourty back at home! Potty training is messy and smelly - reduce the misery by buying a pourty so that you can pour the contents neatly away.

We got one of these for our toddler just a few weeks ago.
It is brilliant and I can't think why no-one thought of this before.
The great thing is that it isn't just a good idea in principle (with the pouring out of a hole not over the edge), it is also really well designed so that has a very stable base, it is comfortable to sit on (well the little one seems to like it!), you pour out of the back (more hygienic) and it has a great handle at the front so it is easy to empty.
I never thought I would get excited about a potty but there you go.

Brilliant potty
I bought one of these and my son loved it so much I bought another one for upstairs. They are very easy to clean as they do pour very easily. Would definitely recommend.

Great little essential
