As a first time mother I found this very helpful. Practical sensible advice and something you can refer back to if you need it. Would definitely recommend

Her method is good, but she just doesn't go into depth or ... 8 Dec. 2014

This author is the mom of 4, but has only potty trained 3 of them--all of which were boys. I too have 4 kids and also have 3 boys and then my daughter. I was hoping she had some insight to the differences in potty training both genders, but if she does now this book was before her daughter potty trained. Basically my biggest issue with this book is that I did not feel she gave anymore info than she does online for free. Her website makes you believe that the book will go into more detail so I bought the book for that extra detail, but feel it was a promise unfulfilled. Her method is good, but she just doesn't go into depth or discuss any issues you may have while following the method and how to deal with those issues (such as what to do if your child refuses to sit on the potty or even what can expect). I gave her two stars because it seemed she had done some research into other cultures training methods and because it is a quick, easy read. The three stars off is because this book has no real substance, offers no solutions for common problems, and offers no more than you can read for free online.

If you read the blog, you get the idea if her method... Didn't think there was added information / or tips that make the book worth the cost.

Loved it! Just right!!! 20 Aug. 2013
By Paula R - Published on Amazon.com

I loved the personal experience offered by the author of this book! I've read some other books by "experts" with similar methods, but I found the others to be too harsh. This Potty Train in a weekend method is just the right blend of practical and fun and so easy to read. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! I don't want to read some LONG book explaining how to potty train, what mother of toddlers has time for that? This book keeps it short, practical and to the point and I really appreciate that!

This Method WORKS!!! 2 Oct. 2014
By Timothy Hoffman - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
My husband and I used this method for both of our children (one boy, one girl). Our son proved to be easier to potty train with this method than my girl since she was easy to distract. One of the negative comments written was actually incorrect. The author states that this method requires your complete attention for the full three days. Anyone attempting such a huge task like potty training should be ready and willing to give their FULL attention to their children in order to achieve success.

My husband and I isolated the kids to the back screened-in porch and every 15 minutes (we set a timer) we would sit the child on the potty and reward when the desired outcome was reached. With our daughter we had to sit her down with some coloring books to keep her attention while she tried to potty. This is not to say that this "experiment" was tear free and hassle free. Both children cried during portions of the process because they did not want to be confined to the potty when it was time to go. Consistency and persistence is key here parents. Continue to follow the guidelines of this book and stay consistent and you will be rewarded. BOTH of our children were trained (pee AND poop) on the potty within 3 days!

This is amazing!!!! 4 Feb. 2014

This book is so quick and easy to read. The author doesn't have a know it all attitude, she just tells you how she did it and what worked for her (and also what didn't.) I decided to go for it with my 29 month old boy. I followed the plan pretty closely and IT WORKED! IT IS AMAZING! I would recommend this training method to anybody. I also have an older daughter and I didn't read any books before her potty training. It took SO much longer for it to "click" for her. In fact, she is four and a half and still wears and wets a pull up every night, and my son who has been potty trained for just over two weeks has been dry every morning for over a week now. Ever since the FIRST day of his training, he has stayed dry through his nap. I am absolutely amazed with this training method.
