I loved this book! It is so learned and yet also accessible to the non-specialist. Prudence Rice covers just about every aspect relating to pottery that you can think of - from the historical to scientific perspectives. I bought it for information for an essay but found myself reading huge chunks of it purely for interest. The chapters are broken down into sections so you can find the information you require very easily.
