Your questions answered? Probably!, 5 May 2009
This review is from: The Potter's Question and Answer Book: 100's of Your Top Questions with 1000's of Practical Solutions (Ceramics) (Paperback)
I love a good pottery book, and this is definitely one of them. Its full of good ideas, photos and clear instructions, just how I like it.
Although I'm not exactly a beginner at playing with mud, (not far off it though!), I was still able to find many inspirational items and loads of handy little tips to make a potting life easier.
The system to find the answer to your particular potter's question does rely on you knowing a little bit more about pottery than having just visited a 'ceramic cafe', and to be honest, I pretty much skipped these few explanatory pages. For me, it was more useful to have a good read from front to back and then, should a problem arrive later on, dip back in to find a solution.
All in all, a very useful book for the almost beginner, the more experienced mud-slinger, and everyone in-between!
