I bought this as a panic "in the car toy" for a 5hr drive, simply because its small. Actually, it proved to be a great favourite. My 18 month son adores Pat (probably because he watches it with his big brother) and recognised the van straight away.

The doors of the van pop off when its dropped, but are proving to be surpringly easy to clip back in. All in all, very durable (for the money). Not sure how long it will last but well loved.

Bought for my son as he loves Pat. Is part of a big system with tracks, but I just bought the van. Really good quality, great little tune played when they press a button, comes with pat figure that sits inside or out and 2 parcels. My son loves it, got loads of toys for his 2nd birthday, but this is unanimously his favourite.

Only quibble is the door which came off almost straightaway when my 2 year-old grandson started playing with it and wouldn't stay back on after that. However, the figure of Postman Pat and the van itself are quite sturdy for frantic little fingers and they are certainly getting a lot of pretty rough play.
A very popular present which should - apart from aforementioned door - last for some time.
Recommended.
